Lipedema is a chronic disease of adipose tissue. Its clinical diagnosis can be “adipose tissue disorder”, “lipid metabolism disorder” or even “lipodystrophy”. The peculiarity of this disease is that the fat that accumulates is not like normal, so it cannot be eliminated even with diet and / or exercise. This fat tends to accumulate symmetrically in both legs (and sometimes also in arms), leaving hands and feet intact. In this way, those affected usually have decompensated silhouettes in which the lower extremities are thicker than the rest of the body.

The most evident and / or typical thickening occurs in the calves, where the accumulation of fat reaches the ankle, where it stops, forming a ring or giving the appearance of a pant pant. With our treatments you can improve the return circulation.
